Strawberry Spinach Smoothie with Sorrel

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1/2 cup sorrel
  • 1 cup frozen Strawberries
  • 1 orange peeled (reserve 1 inch peel)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup liquid of your choice: Water or non-dairy milk.

 

Optional
  • 1 Tbsp. Lucuma powder*
  • 1 Tbsp. Cacao Nibs

 

Directions
  1. In a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients including the reserved orange peel.
  2.  Serve immediately

 

*What is lucuma powder?

Made from the tropical lucuma fruit, lucuma powder is a popular and delicious sugar substitute. It is a good source of carbohydrates, fiber, and vitamin B3.
